In April of 2022, the United Nations published its latest warning about global warming. The UN states on its web page, “A new flagship UN report on climate change out Monday indicating that harmful carbon emissions from 2010-2019 have never been higher in human history, is proof that the world is on a “fast track” to disaster, António Guterres has warned, with scientists arguing that it’s ‘now or never to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees. Unless action is taken soon, some major cities will be underwater, Mr. Guterres said in a video message, which also forecasts “unprecedented heatwaves, terrifying storms, widespread water shortages, and the extinction of a million plants and animals.” Are these the same people who invite teenager Greta Thunberg but do not invite climate professionals to their meetings?! Is the threat of global warming a part of the Hegelian Dialectic Control Method? The 19th-century German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel explained how an evil force could enslave humanity by entrapping us into a frenzied thought process leading to our destruction. This evil force instigates a problematic event, watches for society’s reaction, and formulates a solution (problem, response, resolution).

Now meet Dr. Patrick Michaels, the Center for the Study of Sciences director and a senior fellow in environmental studies at the Cato Institute. His Ph.D. thesis was on climate change, and he is a past president of the American Association of State Climatologists and chairman of the American Meteorological Society. He was a research professor of environmental sciences at the University of Virginia for 30 years, an author and reviewer of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. Dr. Michaels claims that government computer models make dramatic systematic errors. The United Nations uses thirty-two families of computer models to predict too much global warming. Now meet Ian Rutherford Pilmer, an Australian geologist, professor emeritus of earth sciences at the University of Melbourne, and an active writer of scientific papers and six books. When not busy with his position as the director of the Center for the Study of Science at the Cato Institute, he talks about the hoax of global warming and the games politicians play to formulate policy. He emphasizes that the earth’s temperature has always been in flux, and he explains how the belief in climate change has become a new kind of morality, a religion. A movie on the subject is The Great Global Warming Swindle, 2007. The documentary reveals that everything environmentalists have told us about global warming is untrue, and this falsehood is a threat to humanity.

Dr. Mototaka Nakamura has a Doctorate of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has spent his career in abnormal weather and climate change at MIT, Georgia Institute of Technology, NASA, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, and Duke University. In his book, The Global Warming Hypothesis is an Unproven Hypothesis. He explains why generally accepted information about global warming is untrustworthy. Meanwhile, the news does not report on Dr. Art Robinson winning the Voice of Reason Award at the 9th International Conference on Climate Change. He received 31,000 signatures by the world’s leading scientists, 9,000 of them with PhDs, on a document denying global warming as a problem. Dr. Robinson believes that the political left has hijacked the subject, and the news has ignored real scientists. Extreme environmentalists have three strings to their bow. (1) They think that everyone agrees with them. (2) It is unnecessary to discuss the science because they are on the right side of the debate. (3) and that everyone who opposes them has a commercial self-interest. Dr. Judith Curry is a professor and former Chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She delivered a speech to the US Senate Commerce Committee debunking global warming while claiming environmental scientists have become groupthink victims.
